Exercise Physiologists are University trained allied health professionals that use exercise to help improve bodily function. Our exercise physiologists use evidence based treatment and work with you to best guide you on how to become stronger, move and feel better, no matter the condition or your level of experience.
On your initial visit, we want to understand where you are and where you want to be. We will use research based assessments to understand your capacity and to help educate you on what will help and hinder getting to your goals. At Valley Health Group we take the time to get to know you and work closely with you to formulate a plan of action which meets your specific needs.
Once we understand your requirements, we work as a team to create and implement a plan of action to get you one step closer to your goals. You will be provided with a personalised exercise program, 1:1 training guiding you on how to get the most out of it safely, information on your condition, and an exercise tracker help keep you on the road to improvement (even when motivation wavers).
We know, every day you wake up a different person. Making sure we know what is going well and what isn’t is crucial to refining your process to get the best results! This stage is where we celebrate your successes and adjust your plan to avoid any new barriers that may arise.
As you progress with your training, the team at Valley Health Group will continue to reassess your goals and achievements. Our team will continually update your program so that you are consistently moving toward your goals!
